The National Veterans Freedom Park
Freedom Founders

The National Veterans Freedom Park is pleased to announce the formation of the Freedom Founders Society, dedicated to creating a park that is not a just memorial, but an educational adventure. It will be a place where the veterans' service can be appreciated through individual stories, celebrated through art, and carried-on through education. Our organization is developing a world-class facility and operation that strongly reflects the values of our veterans’ unselfish devotion to the freedoms we enjoy today. The National Veterans Freedom Park will be a key contributor to the education of all citizens by telling the story of freedom as told by the veteran.

We will:

  • Create a facility that educates visitors of all ages about the selfless service that our veterans and active duty military provide
  • Create a park that is stimulating, uplifting, encouraging, and educational.
  • Immerse every visitor into the wonderful study of the unbreakable chain connecting our veteran and our freedom
  • Recover, restore and open access for research of veterans' service histories and genealogies
  • Provide innumerable opportunities to touch a veteran's life and thus bring each visitor in direct contact with the cornerstone of our freedom
  • Establish a major destination point and gateway into our community
  • Assist each visitor to learn that the language of freedom is the language of the heart and the veteran is the blood that flows through it and gives freedom life

Since 1775, our veterans have been the foundation of our nation and for that reason, as a West Point graduate and veteran myself, I am committed to ensuring that the National Veterans Freedom Park continues to grow as a cornerstone in telling that story for all time. The formation of the Freedom Founders Society is the first step toward funding the mission of the NVFP team. You can be, and I believe you should be, a member of this dedicated Society. To accomplish this, please complete the commitment pledge letter and return it to our offices.

Thank you in advance for your consideration and for your support of the National Veterans Freedom Park. As always, I am available should you have any questions or if you would like to schedule a time to review the full design presentation, please contact me directly at the NVFP office at 919-449-5440.

Sincerely,

Dave Milidonis, CPT USA, USMA 1974
